During the construction of the Jellicoe Retail Centre, an excavator clipped the pipeline causing a significant amount of damage. The damage was not found until the above ground assets were reinstated and the pipeline inspections were carried out.
PipeMedic was contracted to complete the rectification. Robot’s were used to trim back the defect so that the pipe was back to the original diameter. A shortliner patch was installed to seal the broken segment of pipe. The job was completed with no disruption to the surrounding businesses.
