United Civil contracted PipeMedic to complete a number of trenchless repairs on the northwestern motorway in Auckland. The motorway could only be closed for 6 hours each night meaning zero room for error. The pipeline faults included exposed rubber rings and open joints which required sealing.
In the space of three days, PipeMedic removed four rubber rings and installed six patch repairs ranging from 375-600DN. The project was very successful and was finished on the last day before the Christmas shutdown.
